The transducer is made of hardened stainless Steel, with integral interface plates made from high-strength aircraft aluminum. Fits into restricted spaces of research applications. EDM wire-cut from high yield-strength stainless steel. Maximum allowable single-axis overload values are 5.2 to 21 times rated capacities. Silicon strain gauges provide a signal 75 times stronger than conventional foil gauges. This signal is amplified, resulting in near zero noise distortion.
