The Capacitec TPC probe is a sensor designed to measure sand fill level and/or density. This probe configuration features a 0.063” diameter coaxial cable for connection to the Capacitec Amplifier, a Sensor element, which is a concentric ring surrounding an Inner Guard element, and an Outer Guard element surrounding the Sensor. The probe case features a Ground Tab, provided for the purpose of providing an essential electrical ground connection.

Increased Sensor longevity - stainless steel construction makes sensors last much longer than previous methods.

Reduced maintenance and production costs- because sensors last longer, casting line “downtime” is greatly reduced, and requires fewer man-hours to maintain.

Greater repeatability - greater accuracy of these sensors permits more repeatability of density and fill level than was ever before possible.
