Hitec Products weldable gauges are precision foil strain gauges bonded to stainless steel shim, pre-wired and waterproofed. The waterproofing material is a molded compound used for under sea cable connections. These specially constructed gauges are capable of operation under adverse conditions and at temperatures to 180°F making them ideal for application on ship hulls, offshore drill rigs, power plant structures, railroad cars and tracks, and anywhere that an installation must be protected from the elements.
