DFC-90 and DFC-A DFC-90 and DFC-A

The DFC-90 and DFC-A are designed to provide superior web control performance at an affordable price. The DFC-90 is used for controlling magnetic particle brakes and clutches, while the DFC-A controls pneumatic brakes, clutches and motor drives. Each control offers two modes of operation: Dancer and Follower Arm. In dancer applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A are closed loop controls sensing the position of the dancer arm using a Magpowr DFP or DFP-2 position sensor. In follower arm applications, web tension is controlled by compensating for measured changes in roll diameter, which are again determined using a Magpowr DFP or DFP-2 position sensor.
