CL Cantilevered Load Cells are specifically designed for narrow web applications, accommodating cantilevered idler rolls in processing machines which only have one side frame. These versatile sensors accurately measure and control tension in applications for paper, film, foil, fabrics or any materials used in the label, tag, tape, printing or converting industry. These Load Cells are ruggedly constructed with built-in mechanical overload stops. A full Weatstone bridge strain gauge arrangement is incorporated in each load cell to provide the most accurate means of measuring web tension. CL Load Cells are available in 2 sizes, with tension ranges up to 500 lbs.

Temperature Range: -30 to 95º C
