Position and Velocity Transducers

Inductive Thumbwheel Sensor PO1230
(Posic)
Applications:
Displacement Measurement - Contact

The PO1230 Inductive Thumbwheel Sensor is based on a “microcoil” system integrated on a silicon chip. Microcoil sensors are used in combination with non-magnetized targets and are robust against optical, electric and magnetic disturbances, work well in the presence of water or oil and have a high level of integration, leading to very small dimensions. The PO1230 consists of a small PCB including the sensor and a small bearing to hold the actual thumbwheel. The thumbwheel consists of either an aluminum or a plastic wheel in which

the metallic target is integrated.
